Will my buy to let insurance be invalid if I don't inform my mortgage lender that I have tenants? |

It shouldn’t affect your Insurance at all. The only thing I would say is that the mortgage company may want to be noted on the buildings policy so if there is a large claim they may be notified and may find out. That would be an issue with the you and your mortgage company though not the insurers. As far as cover is concerned though there should be no terms that would invalidate the insurance. Its insured on the correct basis so no problem |

Hi does anyone have any experience of this which I have seen advertised on the London underground. Is it worth having and does it work in practise ? Can anyone share any experiences or advice? |

No as far as i am aware the insurance company doesn't care what type of mortgage you have. A friend of mine has some residential mortgages with his buy to lets and has Landlord insurance with them. |
