Trainee Sales & Valuations Manager – Estate Agent / Agency – Job Scope
·Vacant property inspections
·Source best agents and manage their performance against agreed timescales
·Assist with refurbishments on vacant properties
·Liaise with estate agents and solicitors
·Provide regular, clear progress reports
·Conduct Market research
·Support the valuation process for acquisitions and existing portfolios
Trainee Sales & Valuations Manager – Estate Agent / Agency – The Package
The salary offered for this role is a generous £22,000 with a company car provided, based on an annual car allowance of £4,650 and under the terms of our Company Car Policy. In addition we also provide a bespoke and generous range of benefits and these include:

Trainee Sales & Valuations Manager – Estate Agent / Agency – Key Responsibilities
Operational management of Sales within portfolio:
•Responsibility for the sales of all investment properties within region as directed
•Continually develop knowledge of region and feedback relevant information in order to inform sales and acquisitions strategies
•Inspect vacant properties and produce inspection reports
•Liaising with Property Managers for repairs and maintenance on vacant properties
•Preparing properties for sale
•Maintain ECS sales database, ensuring all changes are updated weekly via Sales Team Administrator
•Assisting with refurbishments of un-modernised properties, pre-sale
•Managing progress with solicitors against our timeframes – sales and acquisitions
•Request lease plans as required
Agency Management:
•Develop contacts with property dealers, estate agents etc.
•Select agencies at local level
•Manage and agree fees with agency at local level
•Monitor performance of agencies against agreed KPIs
Valuations:
•Valuations and establishing estate agents recommended Sales prices
Acquisitions:
•Appraise potential acquisitions
•Negotiate acquisitions within portfolio up £250,000
Trainee Sales & Valuations Manager – Estate Agent / Agency – Experience & Key Skills
·Estate Agency experience preferred, but not essential
·Highly numerate
·Degree level or equivalent qualification or experience
·Understanding of sales and acquisitions process – estate agents and lawyers perspective
·Previous property industry experience
·Experience of residential property auctions
·Full driving licence
·Good oral and written communication skills
·Experience of succeeding in a highly targeted environment
·Demonstrable ability to work both independently and as part of a team
